Colton Palmer is a Field Geologist at Creek Run. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Geology in May 2016 from Wayland Baptist University and a Master’s degree in May 2018 from Fort Hays State University. Colton is responsible for groundwater sampling, creating groundwater flow and contaminant plume maps, technical report writing and surveying monitoring wells.
Colton’s research involved the study of groundwater contamination from the migration of pollutants from hydraulic fracturing processes in Garfield County, Oklahoma as well as research on soil classifications, regarding type and texture differences along Big Creek in Hays, Kansas.
Colton enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, and watching sports.
