Krista Rose is a Project Manager at Creek Run’s Northwest Indiana Office and joined our team in June 2014. Krista earned a B.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Science with a minor in Soil Science from Purdue University in 2011. She has completed the OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and attends yearly 8-hour refresher courses.
Krista is responsible for managing projects and overseeing soil boring classification and well installations. She has experience preparing Quarterly Monitoring Reports, Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, Initial Site Characterizations, Further Site Investigations, and Request for Closure reports. Krista also has experience in groundwater sampling, creating groundwater flow and contaminant plume maps, surveying monitoring wells, and conducting enhanced fluid recovery events.
Prior to joining Creek Run, Krista gained experience with water quality monitoring as the Watershed Coordinator for the Lower Salamonie River Watershed in Huntington, Indiana, as a Water Quality Monitor on Lake Michigan for the USGS, and as a Watershed Intern for the Upper Iroquois Watershed Initiative. Krista previously served in Zambia, Africa with the Peace Corps as a Forestry Extension Agent.
Krista enjoys spending time with family and friends, and in her free time she enjoys hiking along Lake Michigan, traveling, and reading.
