Logan Downing is a Field Scientist at Creek Run. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science from Purdue University in May 2017. Logan is primarily responsible for groundwater sampling, creating groundwater flow and contaminant plume maps, technical report writing and surveying monitoring wells.
While at Purdue, Logan was involved with several research projects, one of which was NOAA’s VORTEX-SE field campaign. In addition to research, Logan worked with the Indiana State Climate Office as a Data Analyst and Technical Lead where he spent most of his time fulfilling data requests for clients and developing and implementing technical solutions, such as a new website and digital sign for the office.
Outside of work, Logan is committed to the church, friends, and family. He enjoys working with computers, biking, racing four wheelers, and reading.
