At Work: Andrea is responsible for the research, development, and writing of emergency management planning projects, including hazard mitigation plans, commodity flow studies, and hazardous materials response plans. She specializes in the evaluation of the risk associated natural and man-made hazards and the development of mitigation actions to address vulnerabilities to critical assets. She has supported more than 40 counties in Illinois with emergency management planning needs and has extensive experience in grant writing, risk communication, public involvement, and technical writing. Andrea is responsible for management of regulatory agency relations with clients, proposal preparation, project design, technical guidance, and budget management.
Education: B.A. in Environmental Science from Monmouth College; M.S. in Environmental Sciences with a concentration in Risk Sciences from the University of Illinois, Springfield
