Administrative Assistant and Events Coordinator
Abby Michael is an Administrative Assistant and Events Coordinator at Creek Run. Abby has been employed with Creek Run since April 2011. She graduated from Blackford High School in Hartford City, Indiana in 2007. She also attended Ivy Tech Community College and received an associate’s degree in Design Technology–Architecture in 2015.
Abby assists the Chief Draftsman in preparing drawings for environmental reports using the AutoCAD program. Abby has used the AutoCAD program for five years while completing courses and a training seminar. She also uses Well Logger to complete boring logs as well as AutoCAD to complete monitoring well construction diagrams for use in reports submitted to regulatory agencies and clients.
Abby’s other duties include coordinating all corporate events including Creek Run’s Annual James Peterson Memorial Corn Hole and Fish Fry Tournament, Dodge Hunger Dodgeball Tournament, Annual Scholarship Golf Outing, Chili Cook-off and Kickball Tournament. Other duties include production of environmental reports, coordinating utility locates for project field work, preparing samples for laboratory analysis, and providing administrative support to Creek Run employees.
Prior to joining Creek Run, Abby has worked at First Financial Bank in Hartford City, Indiana as an Associate Teller. Abby’s main responsibilities included processing client transactions, balancing drawer daily, monitoring daily reports, answering a multiple line telephone. Abby has also worked at Millers Merry Manor as a CNA. There she developed good people skills while working with the elderly. Her duties were to help the residents perform the necessary actions of daily living.
Abby has been married to her husband Brady for ten years and they have five children. Outside of Creek Run, Abby enjoys spending time with her family and watching her kids sporting events.
