Ryan Peterson, CHMM #20945

Senior Project Manager and Safety Officer

Ryan Peterson is a Senior Project Manager and the Safety Officer at Creek Run and has been employed at Creek Run since August 2012.  Prior to Creek Run, Ryan earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a B.S. in Biology from Manchester College in 2011.  Ryan is a licensed underground storage tank (UST) professional in the State of Ohio (Certification #63.89.0356) and Indiana (Certification #UC2015OH10958), certified Asbestos Inspector for the State of Indiana (License #19A007068), licensed Indiana water well driller (#4056 WD), and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM #20945).  Ryan is also First Aid and CPR certified and has completed 40 hour HAZWOPER training and attends yearly refresher courses.

Ryan is responsible for managing numerous projects in accordance with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) and Ohio Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR).  Ryan has experience characterizing the nature and extent of contaminant plumes, overseeing remediation projects, preparing various technical reports required by IDEM and BUSTR, and performing Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).  Ryan has experience in the field with soil sampling, groundwater sampling, vapor intrusion sampling, surveying, using ground penetrating radar technology, soil boring and monitoring well installation, UST compliance inspections, and has overseen multiple UST closures and soil excavations.

Ryan has been married to his wife since 2012 and they have four children.  In his free time, Ryan enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family in the outdoors.
