19th Annual James Peterson Memorial Online Silent Auction

Creek Run, LLC is proud to announce that the 19th Annual James Peterson Memorial Silent Auction raised $4,793.01 to benefit Friends of the Limberlost. The annual auction provides an opportunity for Creek Run to give back to the community while supporting an organization dedicated to preserving the history and natural resources of the Limberlost region.

About Friends of the Limberlost

Friends of the Limberlost is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the legacy of Indiana author and conservationist Gene Stratton-Porter. Founded in 1993, the organization supports the Limberlost State Historic Site and Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Nature Preserves. Through its work, Friends of the Limberlost helps protect and promote the natural and cultural heritage of the Limberlost region for future generations.

Supporting the Limberlost

The James Peterson Memorial Silent Auction has become an annual opportunity for Creek Run and members of the community to come together in support of Friends of the Limberlost. This year’s auction featured a wide variety of donated items and experiences from businesses and organizations across the region and beyond. From entertainment and sporting events to museums, restaurants and other local experiences, the generous contributions from our donors helped make this year’s auction possible. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and everyone who participated in the auction, Creek Run was able to raise $4,793.01 for Friends of the Limberlost. The funds raised through the auction will help Friends of the Limberlost continue its efforts to preserve and promote the history, nature, and legacy of the Limberlost region.
